Brief Biography
Dr. Lynda Butler-Storsved, teaches pedagogy, fitness, health and coaching courses. She has nine years of experience as a public school teacher and coach. Additionally, Dr. Butler-Storsved is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and certified corrective exercise specialist. She serves as coordinator of the Physical Education and Health concencentrations of the Adventure, Health, and Physical Education major as well as the minor in coaching. She is active also as Elon Academy’s Coordinator of the Athletic Evening Curriculum. Dr. Butler-Storsved earned her Ed.D in Kinesiology from UNCG, M.A. in Physical Education with a Specialization in Coach from Ball State University, and B.A. in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Adrian College.
