Alan Russell

Alan Russell is an associate professor in the department of Mathematics and Statistics. His research and publications focus on teaching and learning strategies using multiple software applications as well as origami manipulatives in the mathematics and statistics classrooms.  He has also published on the involvement of undergraduates seeking teaching licensure as co-investigators of teaching and learning projects.   Alan has a long history of leading professional development with both K-12 teachers and higher ed faculty on the use of multiple strategies and materials to enhance interactive classrooms.
