Elon Day FAQs
Who can participate in Elon Day?
Everyone, including you! All alumni, students, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends are invited to participate in Elon Day by making gifts to areas across the university that support students as they rise to the world’s challenges.
Why should I give?
Your Elon Day donations today will provide life-changing experiences in and out of the classroom, helping students find their passions and preparing them to tackle the world’s great challenges. It takes support from all of us—the entire Elon family—to make that possible.
How do I give?
The best way to make sure your gifts are counted in Elon Day totals is to give online using our secure giving form. You can also make your gift on Venmo (@ElonGiving). If you would like to make a gift by phone, please call (336) 278-7477.
Where do my gifts go?
Your gifts can support any areas of campus that matter most to you. That includes scholarships, academic departments, student organizations, athletics programs…the list goes on! See a full list of Elon Day campus designations here.
How do I give to more than one area of campus?
The best way to support multiple areas of campus on Elon Day is to make separate gifts using the online giving form here. It only takes a few seconds to fill out, and by making multiple gifts, you’ll help reach overall Elon Day giving challenges!
I don’t see the designation I want to support. What do I do?
Visit connect.elon.edu/elonday and make sure “Other” is selected under “Designation.” Next, type in the area of campus you would like to give to under “Other Designation.”
Where do I find the Elon Day image with my name on it?
We’re grateful you made your Elon Day gift early! Look for an email on Tuesday, March 7, with information about how to get your image. Or, visit the Elon Day list of donors to save the image and share it with your social networks.

Can I make multiple gifts to participate in multiple Bonus Bucks?
Absolutely! We welcome you to make multiple gifts to your favorite designations.

Are Venmo gifts eligible for Bonus Bucks?
Only gifts made via the Elon Day website are eligible.
What are the social media Bonus Bucks rules?
Social media initiatives are limited to the listed platforms and must include #ElonDay.
Wait... when you say "unlock", does that mean *I* am donating those extra dollars!?
No, silly goose! Bonus Bucks dollars are provided by Ferris and Beth Way ’97, Mike Proctor ’98 and Jaime Proctor ’00, Mark James ’83, John Marshall ‘01 and other anonymous donors for you to giveaway without spending an additional dime. Pretty cool, right!?
