Performance Management Reference Guides

Performance Management Important Notes:

  • As of May 23, 2024 the Goal Setting component of the process is complete.
    • If you missed submitting your goals before that deadline, please follow Goal Setting After Due Date- Step by Step to switch back to edit mode, so you are able to submit goals and track the progress during the remainder of the process.
  • Please note that an employee and supervisor cannot edit a review at the same time. If one person has the review open, there will be a yellow banner at the top letting the other person know they “cannot edit to prevent conflicts”.
  • All emails regarding PageUp: Performance Management will come from an external email: “Employee Relations <employeerelations-1131@mail.pageuppeople.com>”. Please keep an eye out for these communications.
  • The review period is January 1, 2024- December 31, 2024. Yearly reviews can be started early but should not be completed prior to January 1, 2025.
  • Staff who started at Elon on or before August 1, 2024 will receive a yearly review. Any staff who started on or after August 2nd will receive their introductory period review (90-day review) in lieu of the yearly review.
  • Staff with Faculty Rank, please see the User guide for specific instructions for uploading your unit I.

2024 Review Timeline-

  • Now-January 26, 2025
    • Complete your portion and the supervisor portion
  • Early January- 2025 Review- first step is goal setting
  • February 13, 2025- Feb 20, 2025
    • Supervisory Chain review- time in which your supervisory chain will review the reports prepared for them, including goal progression, overall rating, and summary comments.
  • February 20-February 27, 2025
    • Review Sign-off- supervisor confirms on the “Next Steps” screen
  • February 28, 2025
    • Review Complete

2024 Year-End Review Training Session- open for all staff who are eligible for a 2024 Review (Permanent staff who started on or before August 1, 2024). These trainings will incorporate feedback best practices, system tips, and conversation around merit pay.
