The Maker Hub
The Maker Hub is the hub for maker activity at Elon University. They provide Elon faculty, staff, and students with free access to workshop space, tools, and materials to pursue projects of personal and academic interest. The Maker Hub currently has two locations: The Colonnades E building lobby, and Downtown Elon (adjacent to the Design Thinking Studio above Pandora’s Pies). Any member of the Elon University community can freely access and use their equipment, which includes 3D printers, sewing machines, laser engravers, saws and drills, a CNC router, an embroidery machine, and much more (some equipment requires training for access). Learn more about the Maker Hub at their website.
