Elon is home to three fraternal organizations that are not full members in any of the three governing councils. These organizations do not participate in the formal recruitment processes hosted by the Interfraternity Council or Panhellenic Association. There is no formal recruitment period for these organizations, as recruitment processes and initiation procedures for new members are unique to each of these organizations.

Traditionally, each organization hosts educational programming throughout the semester and offers ample opportunity to meet and connect with members before making the personal decision to join. Each respective organization conducts a covert process until the “coming out” of their new members which is open to the public.
