The Gender and LGBTQIA Center is committed to providing financial support to students either directly through the GLC’s GAP fund or by connecting them to the various on-campus resources. For students who are part of the LGBTQIA communities and/or students who are survivors of gender-based violence the GLC’s financial resources are available to them.

Directly
Through the GAP Fund*, the GLC is able to provide financial support to currently enrolled Elon students who are part of the LGBTQIA communities and/or students who are survivors of gender-based violence. The GAP Fund is made possible by generous donations to the GLC from LGBTQIA alumni, faculty, staff, current students, and community members.

The goals of the GAP fund are as follows:

  • To GIVE relief and aid to advance the well-being and safety of LGBTQIA+ students and survivors of gender-based violence
  • To ADVOCATE for the health, empowerment, and acceptance of students in the LGBTQIA+ communities and survivors of gender-based violence.
  • To PROMOTE the protection, equity, and education of LGBTQIA+ students, the community, and survivors of gender-based violence.

For more information on the GAP Fund, including how to apply you can visit the fund’s information page. Note: Elon log in credentials are required to access the form.
