Understanding Your Emotions

Resilience, grit and the mental capacity to both thrive and contribute to one’s own personal growth. Striving for well-being in this dimension involves not only identifying personal emotions, regulating them constructively and understanding their value, but recognizing emotions and understanding the emotions of others. Strong emotional well-being involves actively practicing skills and behaviors to ensure mental wellness. Strong well-being also means doing something meaningful that contributes to the emotional well-being of oneself, peers, and the greater community.
