A survey of participants’ opinions about issues and trends recorded at the Global IGF’s 10th meeting, in João Pessoa, Brazil
The Global Internet Governance Forum is a multistakeholder effort to illuminate issues and cultivate constructive discussions about the future of the Internet. It is a space where people from civil society, government, technology, research, business and academia share information and create coalitions that move dialogues forward and demonstrate best practices. IGF is part of the processes of the World Summit on the Information Society, facilitated by the United Nations and aimed at contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. More than 2,400 people from more than 116 countries participated in the Global IGF meeting in João Pessoa Nov. 9-13, 2015.
Elon University’s Imagining the Internet Center conducted interviews at IGF to gather opinions about Internet evolution and issues, inform policy and create a historic record.
