Name: Robert Venosa

From: New York

Bio: I am an internet user, and have been for years. Recently, I have been on for hours every day.

Area of Expertise: Author/Editor/Journalist

Topic: Controversial Issues

Headline: Online Music Sharing/Swapping Sites

Nutshell: In the future, music file sharing will become more prevalent; you can't stop inertia.

Vision:

A slow, ongoing process is occuring. Steadily, online music-sharing programs are becoming easier to access and utilizing all they offer is becoming easier also. Of course, since I can’t even keep debilitating viruses off of my computer for anything greater than a seven-month stretch, even with 2 firewalls and internet protectors, I won’t even dare go into a file-share program; I’ll probably end up being sued or something like that. But from what I hear from my computer-savvy friends, and from what I observe from what’s going on in the internet, the subtle shift to file sharing becoming safer, and maybe even legal, is inching closer year by year. Let’s see how the situation turns out 7 years from now.
