Headline: Internet Voting Issues Personal Receipts
Nutshell: Internet voting will build off the current model of retail sales on the internet.
Vision:It is not a question of "if" but "when" internet voting will be used in America. Currently, the nay-sayers warn of hacking and vote tampering. We already know that with 128-bit and higher encryption, there is no way to intercept and crack the encryption. The fault lies in the storage. I see the election boards creating secure storage specifically for voting. To help ease the worry of some, you will also be given a receipt and voting ID number for a particular vote. This solves the problem of no paper trail and allows you to go online and ensure that what you voted was counted correctly.
