The access and transmission of information of every imaginable type will empower individuals to create as yet unimaginable ideas. The effects of the information and computing age will leave no category of everyday life untouched. To try to predict the revolutionary changes that will occur through technology in the next twenty years is difficult because of the rapid pace of new advancements. Let me conclude by saying that the dynamics of the advancement of the information age will restructure everything from our politics to the products we buy; in short, life as we knew it is over, but for the better we hope.
