Name: Joel Pulliam
From: Virginia
Bio: Exec at AOL and MCI for over a decade
Area of Expertise: Entrepreneur/Business Leader
Topic: Communication
Headline: Any to Any
Nutshell: Within 10 years, you will be able to get any content on any device anywhere.
Vision:We’re moving from silos of content that are viewed/enjoyed by a specific "client" (e.g., I can view my spreadsheet on my computer or I can look at my recently dialed phone numbers on my cell phone) to one personal, highly guarded corpus of content made available wherever, whenever, on whatever "client" I want (e.g., my music–residing on my PC–will be available via my cell phone that I can plug into my buddy’s stereo so the whole party can enjoy).
The implications are (at least) twofold:
1) I don’t need to rent (due to inconvenience) when I can own.
2) I need to protect and preserve my corpus.
