Nutshell: We must evolve without becoming the Borg!
Vision:If we connect to the web(at the level of brain implants) we must avoid "de-evolving" into a mandatory Borg-like structure. Individuality and privacy must be preserved. Perhaps we need the equivalent of Asimov’s rules of robotics to guide the evolution.
