Name: Mark Farley
From: Colorado
Bio: 25 years in the IT field
Area of Expertise: Technology Developer/Administrator
Topic: Controversial Issues
Headline: Will people be needed in the future?
Nutshell: All industries will be replaced by automation and people will no longer be necessary.
Vision:Processes in all sectors of our economy are becoming automated and people are being replaced by machines. Once the collective knowledge of humankind is available to "thinking" machines via the internet, people may become increasingly unnecessary.
What will people do when they no longer need to be innovative or productive. Sit around drinking vodka until our livers give out? Hopefully, we will have the forsight to impose limits on automation and preserve the worth of the common man.
