Name: Peter
From: Massachusetts
Bio: internet user
Area of Expertise: Research Scientist/Illuminator
Topic: Global Relationships/Politics
Headline: Amalgamation
Nutshell: Local ethnic communities will gravitate toward a "common culture," which is an average of the existing cultures through the widespread access to the internet.
Vision:As locals in remote areas of the globe become more connected to the internet, they will learn about the liberties and cultures of people in other areas. The best aspects of those cultures will be taken for use, while unsavory ones will be left behind. The result will be an eventual averaging of all cultures in comparison to others. Human rights will become standard throughout the world, as will political freedoms and scientific discoveries that better human life. Most importantly, the imputus for these changes will come from the people, not political leaders.
