Nutshell: Nations will be superceded/replaced politically by communual-based blocs of multinational citizens.
Vision:Networked citizens will cause democracy to spread throughout the world as the only citizen-tolerated form of government. Totalitarian governemnts can only stay in power by controlling the information flow to its citizens. The free flow of information over the Net precludes the necessary control the government needs to survive. Citizens will gravitate into different blocs that espouse different views of "democracy". Nations as individual political units will cease to exist, as more and more blocs (economic), like the EU, profilerate.
