Vision:

Let’s say you are in Chicago, walking down Michigan Avenue, shopping for Christmas gifts. You need to cut time because you have many gifts to buy. If your watch, cell-phone, pda, laptop were connected to a local area wide-field public wireless network, you could ask someone down the street, "Where do they have good chocolate?" Users, logged on to a free service specifically for large public areas would be receiving your text message, or even photo. After you get a satisfied response you can call or order from a store by going to the hyperlink someone sent.

This technology would also be used at large outdoor venues in case your child walks off. Everyone’s phones and pdas would get an "alert."
