Name: Kevin Varadian

From: California

Bio: Software Sales - Futurist

Area of Expertise: Entrepreneur/Business Leader

Topic: Getting, Sharing Information

Headline: Interconnectivity – Internet Explosion

Nutshell: We are slowly migrating towards a single point of access for all information, and will eventually eliminate all of the redundant products we are forced to carry around - pda's, mobile phones, laptops, ipods, etc - and be introduced to a single, simple, point of access for voice, information, and business data.

Vision:

I envision a world where, through micro computerization, we are able to utilize a single, portable interface in our home, office, and on the road to access email, business info, internet, phone, radio, television and all other communication mechanisms, then simply bring that product home, or to the office and plug it into our display systems.

This will work much like docking stations for computers, or satellite radio docking stations. We will truly be mobile and the technology decisions we make will be based more on how to best display information at home, the and the office, rather than what type of tool to use. The businesses that invest in long-term platforms for this type of invention will profit, while others will either adapt or fade away.
