Nutshell: We will be able to send and recieve more data faster enabling us to be better connected.
Vision:With faster and increased data transfer we will be able to communicate better. Cell phones will do everything and more that a laptop can. We will use them to have converstaions with live video as well as use them to transmit money from your bank to pay for things to changing the channel of your TV. They will become essential for day-to-day things. Home video internet phones will be really cheap or free to talk to anyone in the world. More and more people will be able work from home even when jobs are halfway around the world. We will become less dependent on our cars and more dependent on the internet to link us.
