Name: Emilie Johnson
From: Indiana
Bio: Internet user, teacher, disabled worker
Area of Expertise: Advocate/Voice of the People
Topic: Community/Culture
Headline: People are more important than technology
Nutshell: People, not technology, will be recognized as the most valuable asset a network can have.
Vision:The internet and related technologies are only important as a means of linking people together. The best part of the internet is people – meeting people, networking, IM’ing, getting dates, finding jobs, learnign in virtual classrooms, asking each other questions. The more people participate in a network, the more valuable it will be. Thus, NETWORKS will pay PEOPLE to participate, the opposite of the current sytem. If not with cash, with free software, data storage, raffles, etc.
