Name: John Serembe

From: California

Bio: Market Researcher

Area of Expertise: Research Scientist/Illuminator

Topic: Economic structures

Headline: Showrooms, not stores

Nutshell: Products will be showcased in demo outlets and purchased only online.

Vision:

Remote warehousing of products will be done in huge quantities on cheap land. Products will not be stored at retail locations to avoid the cost of maintaining expensive square footage. Instead, small "demo" storefronts will be maintained with few employees. Customers can go to the outlet to examine products, talk to an expert, etc. Then they place their order on the internet and it is delivered the next day to their home. This will avoid having cash at the store which will prevent robberies. All merchandise at the demo store cannot be taken out of the store without it becoming non-operational (or ink stained in the case of clothing).
