Name: Larry Du

From: California

Bio: I first started using the internet at the age of 7 back in 1995 when it first started catching on

Area of Expertise: Advocate/Voice of the People

Topic: Community/Culture

Headline: Times Squares Arise Online

Nutshell: In the near future, game communities such as Everquest will evolve and go further mainstream in some more popular form creating a three-dimensional cyberspace peppered with advertising.

Vision:

The current trend in cyberspace is more advertising, more interactivity, and more animation. If this continues, then we are likely to see a convergence of the three when three-dimensional interactive worlds such as that created in MMORPGs go more mainstream at a cheaper price and sustainable by more bandwidth. It is likely that these online hubs will become saturated by advertising from larger corporations, as Times Squares begin to arise online.
