In addition to the Office of Career & Student Development, law students have different departments and resources within the law school to provide support and guidance.
Academic Advising
Academic Advising is provided by the Elon Law Faculty. In the Fall of the first year, each student is assigned a faculty advisor. Academic Advisors are encouraged to
- challenge students to reflect on interests, skills, and aptitudes,
- help students to think critically about goals and objectives,
- assist students in the selection of courses and concentrations and
- helping students make a graduation plan and consider career options.

Disability Resources
The School of Law and Elon University are committed to the principle of equal opportunity and equitable access. One of the ways we express our commitment is in our efforts to accommodate qualified students with disabilities as they face the challenges of university life. Faculty, staff, administrators, and students work together to find approaches and accommodations that enable students to benefit from the variety of programs and activities on campus. The School of Law works with Disabilities Resources to arrive at the most suitable approaches and accommodations for its students. Health, Wellness & Safety
Elon Law is committed to the health and well-being of its students. The law school collaborates with the Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA to provide each student with a membership at no additional cost. All Elon Law Students have access to the University’s Health & Counseling Services as well as BarCARES, a confidential, short-term intervention program provided cost-free to students, faculty and staff of the law school.
Housing
The law school does not provide housing for students. However, abundant, affordable housing options exist in downtown Greensboro and throughout the Triad area.
Technology
The School of Law utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including wireless Internet connectivity throughout the facility, and has its own IT department.
