The Elon Law Library is a selective depository of the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). The library currently selects approximately 8% of publications offered by the federal government. Our selection of government publications primarily consists of materials that are either legal or law related and that will assist in supporting the educational and research needs of the Elon University School of Law community.

Government documents are published in a variety of formats, including paper, microfiche, CD-ROM and online and are valuable research tools to the Elon Law Community and members of the general public. Patrons of the library will find the bound government publications shelved throughout the library. Government publications on microfiche are kept in the Microfiche Room located on the main library floor. Electronic government publications can be accessed through one of the two public access computers available for researching online government material. There is a public access terminal located next to the Reference Desk and one in the Microfiche Room.

Please consult the online catalog for help in locating a particular government publication. If you need further assistance our Government Documents Librarian, Katie Lynch, will be happy to assist you.
