Litigation Skills Program

The goal of the Litigation Skills Program at Elon Law is to actively engage students in learning experiences which develop their analytical and oral advocacy skills through simulation-based learning using the basic structure of criminal and civil trials.

Moot Court Program

The Moot Court Board hosts an annual Intramural Competition, providing students an excellent opportunity to practice and sharpen the research, writing and oral advocacy skills they learn during their first year. The top competitors are invited to join the Moot Court Board, and as Board members, they represent Elon Law in competitions across the country and also host the annual Billings, Exum & Frye National Moot Court Competition, which regularly brings over 30 teams from 20+ law schools to compete in Greensboro. Mock Trial Program

Students on the Student Advocacy Board form Mock Trial Competition Teams and compete at events around the country, for instance the National Trial Competition (NTC) and the Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC). Members of the Student Advocacy Board develop practical litigation skills through preparation for and participation in national competitions. Learn more about the Mock Trial Program.

Elon Law Review

The Elon Law Review was established in 2008 as the student-run and student-edited scholarly journal of the Elon University School of Law.
