Center for Leadership Interns
The Center for Leadership Interns are responsible for coordinating all programs and services offered in the Center for Leadership. Students commit to a year term transitioning in February and serving in the Spring semester and then the Fall semester. These programs and services are divided into distinct internship positions including Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows, Marketing & Communication, Leadership Education, Writing & Multimedia, Community Programming, Campus Engagement, and Inclusive Leadership. Each intern has individual responsibilities, but CFL Interns have common goals to work collaboratively and provide leadership development opportunities for all Elon students.
As a Center for Leadership Intern, students grow personally and professionally. We are looking for students to further develop their individualized leadership style by working with the CFL professional staff.

“You is kind. You is smart. And you is important.” This quote is important to me because it comes from one of my favorite movies called “The Help”, and the quote is a simple and succinct message that emphasizes one’s personal values such as being kind, smart, and knowing that they are important.

Hometown: Denver, Colorado
Major/Minors: Double Majoring in BFA Acting and Strategic Communications
Involvement on campus: President of EFFECT (Elon Feminists for Equality, Change, and Transformation), Elon Performing Arts (Stage Actor), Elon Cinema and Television Arts (Film Actor)
I am honored to serve the Elon community as the Inclusive Leadership Intern at the Center for Leadership. Ensuring that each one of my peers feels that they are genuinely valued, thought of, and understood, is of utmost importance to me as I serve in this role. I aim to be a resource for all students at Elon who have a passion for leadership to learn more about the ways their individual identities, and the identities of their peers, can make them more impactful, authentic, and effective leaders at Elon and in the world. Additionally, I am excited for the opportunity to serve as a Director of INTERSECT, which is an incredible conference for highlighting the connection of leadership and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

“There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.” -Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
This quote is meaningful to me because it reminds me that we as humans are all capable of making our dreams a reality and that we must not let fear hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. We owe it to ourselves and to the world to believe this. That belief in ourselves and others, helps solidify the notion that together we can create beautiful experiences for ourselves and raise the consciousness of humanity.
