Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to speak Oct 1 at Elon College

ELON COLLEGE – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has prosecuted governments and companies for water pollution, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 in McCrary Theatre in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts.

The speech is free and open to the public.

Media representatives can interview Kennedy at 5 p.m. Thursday,
Oct. 1 in Yeager Recital Hall in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts.

Kennedy has been called a pioneer for holding governments and companies accountable for their involvement in environmental problems. He serves as the chief prosecuting attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper and also is a senior attorney for the National Resources Defense Council. He is a clinical professor and supervising attorney at the Environmental Litigation Clinic at Pace University School of Law in New York.
