ELON COLLEGE – The Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at Elon College recently received the Grand High Alpha Award, which is presented to chapters that have displayed operational and fraternal excellence.
Chapters that receive the award rank among the top 3 percent in chapter operations within the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
The Elon chapter was one of only eight out of more than 200 chapters and colonies to receive the award, which was presented during the fraternity’s leadership seminar held Aug. 4-8 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Lambda Chi Alpha International Fraternity is one of the largest men’s general fraternities with more than 200 chapters and colonies throughout the United States and Canada. Founded in 1909 at Boston University, it has more than 230,000 initiated members.
