ELON COLLEGE – The popular Russian folk ensemble, the Don Cossacks of Rostov, will perform Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. in McCrary Theater in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on the campus of Elon College. Tickets are $15 and are available in the Model Center Box Office 12:30 to

The Don Cossacks are characterized by their elaborate showmanship, including numerous song and dance numbers and a wide variety of costumes. Each act performed reflects a daily scenario of the Cossack people living along Russia’s Don River. The 90-member Cossacks will be the largest ensemble to ever appear on state at Elon.
