Elon College to host grantsmanship training program

ELON COLLEGE – Elon College will host a grantsmanship training program Jan. 24-28 in Moseley Center on its campus.

The intense and comprehensive five-day workshop, conducted by The Grantsmanship Center (TGCI) provides both the novice and experienced grant seekers with an opportunity to develop and polish the skills they need to compete for limited resources in a changing environment. The training will combine personalized instruction with practical exercises and will take the participants step-by-step through all stages of writing a grant proposal.
TGCI also will provide free follow-up support, including proposal review and critiques and access to its on-line services, to all workshop graduates.

The Grantsmanship Center is the world’s oldest and largest training organization for the non-profit sector. Since it was founded in 1972, it has trained more than 65,000 staff members of public and private agencies from all areas of human services.

The cost of the workshop is $675 for the first registrant with a $50 discount for additional registrants from the same agency. Space is limited to insure personal attention.
