ELON COLLEGE – The Ohio Ballet, a contemporary ballet company of 18 dancers, will perform to the music of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington during a Tuesday, Feb. 22 performance at Elon College.
The 8 p.m. performance will be held in McCrary Theatre in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on the Elon College campus. Tickets are $12 and can be reserved by the calling the Elon College Box Office at

Based in Akron, the ballet company was founded in 1968 by a Heinz Poll, a German ballet dancer, choreographer and teacher who had also trained in modern dance, and Tom Skelton, an American who was a dance and Broadway lighting designer. The company has gained national and international acclaim as a result of extensive touring, which has taken the dancers to eight countries, 36 states and more than 240 cities.
