Elon’s vocal jazz ensemble, Elan, will present “A Little Torch Music” at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 29 and Friday, March 30 in Yeager Recital Hall, located on the Elon campus in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts.
Directed by Stephen A. Futrell, director of choral programs, Elan will perform a variety of solos, duets and ensemble pieces made famous by jazz vocal legends such as Billie Holiday, Joe Williams, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole.
The concert is free and open to the public.
