The North Carolina Symphony and guest cellist Wendy Warner will present a classical concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on the Elon campus.
Warner and conductor Gerhardt Zimmermann will lead a program which includes the works of Bizet and Beethoven, as well as Dvorak’s Cello Concerto. Warner has received acclaim as one of the world’s leading cellists, performing throughout the United States and Europe.
Tickets for the concert are $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens, or free for anyone presenting valid Elon identification. Children are also admitted free with a paying adult. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
