Elon writer-in-residence to speak March 19

Debra Diblasi, Elon University’s spring writer-in-residence, will read from her collection of fiction at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 in Yeager Recital Hall, located on campus. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Diblasi will read selected passages from her works, which include “Drought” and “Say What You Like.” Her fiction is powerful and sharp, and her characters engage and charm.
Diblasi’s appearance is sponsored by the English department and Colonnades, Elon’s student-run literary magazine.
