Public policy expert to discuss foreign aid during April 9 speech

Doug Bandow, senior fellow at the Cato Institute, will present a speech titled “Foreign Aid: Hindrance Not Help,” at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9 in Whitley Auditorium, located on the Elon campus. His speech is free and open to the public.

The Cato Institute is a public policy research organization in Washington, D.C. Bandow served as special assistant to President Reagan and was senior policy analyst during Reagan’s presidential campaign.
Bandow has written and edited several books on politics, poverty and foreign policy, and is a frequent guest on radio and television news programs.

His appearance at Elon is sponsored by the Liberal Arts Forum and supported by a grant from the Young America’s Foundation.
