Elon Department of Performing Arts presents “Under Milk Wood”

Elon University’s Black Box Theatre will present Dylan Thomas’s “Under Milk Wood” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2-Saturday, Oct. 5, and at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6.

Thomas is considered one of the most controversial poets of the mid-twentieth century. The drama, directed by Connie Renda, is a midnight-to-midnight prowl of a smug and ingrown Welsh fishing village. In an incisive and often humorous way, “Under Milk Wood” considers the vices of humanity and what is happening to all of mankind.

Tickets for the performance are $10, or free with valid Elon identification. For reservations, call the Black Box Theatre’s 24-hour reservation hotline at (336) 278-5650.
