The North Carolina Symphony will perform at 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20 in McCrary Theatre, located in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.
Under the direction of guest conductor Fabio Mechetti, the symphony will perform the Barber Violin Concerto with violinist Anne Akiko Myers. The major symphonic work of the evening is Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, one of the most exciting orchestral pieces in the entire repertoire.
Tickets for the performance are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, or free for those with valid Elon identification. Tickets may be purchased by calling the McCrary Theatre box office at (336) 278-5610. The box office is open from 12:30 p.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
