“Local Coverage of the 2000 Election in North Carolina: Does Civic Journalism Make a Difference?” was published in the January 2003 edition of The American Behavioral Scientist. The article analyzes the effect of projects designed to increase issue coverage and citizen involvement on local television coverage of the 2000 election.
