Dr. Scott Windham, assistant professor of German and director of the language media center, gave a presentation at Duke University’s Foreign Language Technology Conference in February. His presentation was entitled “Integrating a Language Technology Center into the Curriculum: Key Issues and Steps.”
Dr. Windham highlighted Elon’s new language media center and, based on early experiences with the LMC and his previous experience as an e-learning consultant, presented Elon’s case as a model for integrating computer technology into the foreign language curriculum. Conference attendees were from colleges and universities throughout the Southeast.
