Elon to host 16th annual Spring Poetry Day, April 12

The Elon University English department and The North Carolina Poetry Society will host their 16th-annual Spring Poetry Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, April 12 in the Faith Rockefeller Model Center for the Arts on campus.

Poetry readings and workshops are designed for students and members of the community. Poet Mark Smith-Soto, professor of Spanish at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, will read his poetry, along with winners of the Frederick Hartmann Poetry Competition.
