Elon forum to focus on sexual assault awareness, response April 15

Sexual violence against women, methods of coping with sexual assault and services available to sexual assault victims will be the topics of a forum from 7 p.m.-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 15 in McKinnon Hall, located in Moseley Center on the Elon University campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Students enrolled in “Women, Violence and Resistance,” a religion and general studies course, organized the forum. Speakers will include representatives from local police departments, a community educator from Crossroads Sexual Assault, Response and Resource Center, and the Elon University Counseling Service.
