Brooke Barnett, assistant professor of communications, was interviewed for a April 25 WRAL-TV story on a local murder case. The story focused on media coverage of the murder of April Greer. Barnett compared the limited national coverage of this case to the extensive media coverage of the murder of Laci Peterson in California. Barnett’s interview took place in the School of Communication’s television studios.
