A labyrinth patterned after one found in Chartres Cathedral in France will be on display from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, May 13-15 in McKinnon Hall.
Individuals may walk through the labyrinth, which is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of a circle and a spiral into a meandering path. The labyrinth pattern is an archetypal form found all over the world that has been used for centuries as a tool for reflection, meditation and deep self-knowledge.
The labyrinth is sponsored by the Elon University Chaplain’s Office and the Religious Life Council.
