Tom Erdmann, associate professor of music and education, was the chair of the 2003 ITG Jazz Improvisation Competition finals held at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth on Saturday, May 24. He has also been selected to be the first back-to-back chair of the competition, and will serve at next year’s finals at University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music in June 2004.
