Laith Majali, a junior from Amman, Jordan, was featured in the March 2003 issue of On Campus Magazine-Jordan.
Majali was profiled in the magazine’s Talent of the Month section. Staff writer Deema Amr conducted an online interview with Majali, asking him about his experiences as a communications major at Elon. Majali received an Aegis Award for his production of “The Jordan Experience,” a four-minute video about his homeland. The video also recently received honors from The Videographer Awards and The Telly Awards.
On Campus Magazine-Jordan just completed its first year of publication, and is designed for the country’s high school and college students. It is distributed for free on all college campus and in a number of high schools in Jordan. It is the first publication in the country targeted primarily for a young audience that is printed in English.
