Victoria Fischer, professor of music, will be a guest on “Voices and Viewpoints,” a weekly radio show on WFDD-FM 88.5 in Winston-Salem, N.C. Fischer’s interview will air at 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15 and at noon, Saturday, Aug. 16.
Hosted by news director Denise Franklin, the 30-minute show features interviews with people from a variety of professions and backgrounds. Fischer will discuss her experience as an artist, teacher and scholar, as well as her recent selection for the Regional Artist Award by the Southeast Region of the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Fischer received the award Aug. 8 in Charleston, S.C.
