Psychiatrist Karen Swartz will discuss depression among college students at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Whitley Auditorium on the Elon University campus.
Swartz is an attending psychiatrist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and Director of the Affective Disorders Consultation Clinic at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She will address issues related to depression among college students including the symptoms, the current treatment options and the impact of this illness.
