The Parents Council heard an update on campus news from President Leo M. Lambert, who discussed issues and challenges facing Elon and answered parents’ questions. Seven committees explored issues related to admissions, career services, communications, student life, events, the Parent Fund and summer welcome events.
Provost Gerald Francis delivered an academic affairs update and associate dean of students Jana Lynn Patterson was assisted by students Kendra Rau ’04 and Bryan Scherich ’04 in a presentation on the Parents 101 Class and the Elon Enterprise Academy.
