Artist-in-Residence Jon Metzger and guest pianist Keith Waters will present a jazz concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17 in Yeager Recital Hall, located in the Center for the Arts on the Elon University campus.
The concert features American improvised music, including works by Cole Porter, Herbie Hancock and Horace Silver. The program will also include works by Metzger and Waters, who have known each other for more than 20 years. Metzger and Waters will play several selections from their past albums, including “Teach Me Tonight,” the first CD produced by the Elon Improvibes project.
Admission is free and open to the public.
